Annual Cross Country-
It's the last year, and initially i thought, the chances of getting in top10 this year is very slim and i'll not make it. Ya that negative. Haha, but still i shld say, it's about myself, for i didn't pin high hopes cause i know ive stopped swimming, wushu and dance & I know better that my stamina's not good already;
/Never give in. I watched 'My School Days' that day with my family. Randomly. That ep changed my perspective totally. The mother in the show told the girl that the biggest enemy is herself. -The race is about you.- Not like the first time you hear this but well, something she said motivated me alot but i forgot. But it's that line that made me see the light, to give my all and have no regrets. But tell me, who doesn't want a medal fr yr last year in high school? Still, i found tht competition's just a platform to let you see where you stand and as long as you see it as an opportunity, you'll push yourself.
Anw today, i accidentally came across the rank sheet today and i'm ranked 11, dropped by 4ranks. I lost to Yitian by 8seconds. My favorite number. It wasn't what they said, neither 8 nor 10. But yeah it doesn't matter. For i think for a dancer myself, it's alrd a rather big achievement. Don't you think? Haha. Moreover, i came in earlier thn some well-to-do others. In optimism, i see myself as top20 then! You bet i wasn't feeling like this earlier, i hid my disappointment well in schl. Gah, but still, hey i like the feeling of giving people a hand and pulling the others along the route. Cheering for each other and all. Make me sound like a good soul eh? I really am hokay. :D Congrats to Yahui for coming in first, Xinyi for coming in second and Sandra third. (Im proud t say they're my friends! ;P) Haha and 4E5 GOT FIRST FOR THE COHORT! [: And, Mr Siau (ft) got 2nd in Senior Mens category, Dekang got 1st for Sec4 and 5 guy cat. Yay yayay.
Anw after that we stink alot and was totally exhausted. I managed to talked char and peiyi into not walking to sp, eheheh. We proceeded t the bus stop but Mr Tan for once a good soul, asked whether we need a lift. W-O-A-H? Principal? Haha, not him. He shoved us into Mr Ng's car. Not too bad, his car's very cool. Char, Xinyi and I were squeezed behind but we had a great time tgt with Peiyi, Zarchi, Yuting, Dickson infront. 8 in a car! My number's the best. We thanked him profusely (polite children) and rushed to KFC, uh me i rushed in to find seats. HAHA. We were lucky to reach early and we had our fill way before the rest strolled from sembawang park to sp. Wheee, the number tag for my 2piece was 8 too. Lol.
After lunch we had to separate and go back to our own homes. I didn't want to, so i went to zarchi's hse. Xinyi went back to change, Py and char went back to take a break before another round of mother tongue intensive. Suddenly i feel so relieved to be in hmt. Heh. We (zarchi, xinyi, me) arranged to meet at GV then to catch Night at the Museum 2. Heh, Zarchi's orchid park condo is pretty! Abit chinese but cool too. I bathed at her house! Haha, then we talked abit on our violin after checking the timeslot too. (All the grumbles) She was initially ahead of me, but now i think her teacher sort of neglected her. Nevermind, come t mine! :P Yeah and after that we saw a pervert indian guy at her bustop. Shan't mention that neither cool nor skinny geek, just imagine a staring tiko and you'll see it. We arrived late, uh very late and bump into char and py. HAHA, xinyi was mad but she's as forgiving as ever. ._. The show was nice, 3stars! Ha, aftwards we went to mac and on our way, we saw a little boy. Initially we heard : 可以借我电话吗？ then xinyi scrd he'll take the phone and run so she asked us, then i nod? HAHA. He then asked again, and we heard : 跟你换-.- We thought he want to exchange so tht he can assure tht he wont run. But actually it was yeah yknow. Lol. Funny little chap.
